I will work to create an Intergroup aimed at fighting corruption within 150 days from the formation of the new Parliament

The intergroup will work together to achieve the three points below within the first 150 days of Parliament (i.e. before 21st of March 2015):
1) Reconstitute the parliamentary Committee on European organized crime, corruption and money laundering (CRIM) and make CRIM’s top priority the extension of confiscation to include bribery.
2) Promote a parliamentary resolution that will push towards a European directive on whistleblowing.
3) Vote to establish an official European Day in Memory of the innocent victims of organized crime to be held yearly on 21st March.
